This weeks challenge was to use the layout on page 92 of the Stampin' Up! Fall & Winter Collection. The layout calls for a pockets card but we did not have to follow the card exactly.

I changed it up a bit. I added the ribbon and bottom saying too. I hope you will like my card!!

I have been busy today waiting for the insurance man all day, so I was not happy I could have been STAMPING!!! He showed up finally so I got that taken care of. Hopefully my basement will be done in the next couple of weeks and the boys can have there room back and I can have my sanity back! I never realized how small our house is without the basement until we didn't have it. Last week it rained all week and the kids drove me crazy because I couldn't let them go to the basement to play!

So tonight I sat down and made these 2 cards!!

I LOVE the 4x4 cards, I guess you could say I am a little addicted to them right now!

They are so much fun, I love it when I get a 4x4 card in the mail!

I am so tired and ready for bed....

I will post the recipe tomorrow along with more pictures!

Holiday Mini Catalog...

True Friend

Guess What?? Brown delivered some more Stampin' Up! goodies yesterday!!

I only ordered 1 stamp set so far from the Holiday mini pre-order. I will always over buy in the mini catalogs and then they end up not making the catalog! Then I have so many retired sets, which makes me sad. The Holiday Mini is GREAT but I don't care for all the sets. Anyways here's the card I made with True Friend stamp set. I also used the New Designer paper OUTLAW with Sage Shadow & Really Rust card stock.

I love this color combo! The flower stamp in True Friend was stamped using Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow & Really Rust Markers. I love this technique, it's a little time consuming but fun! The flower looks so good stamped this way!!

This card measures 4x4 folded long ways. I also used my new Photo Corner Punch, I love this punch and all the NEW Stampin' Up! Punches!! I hope you will enjoy my card as much as I do! I will be posting more cards that I have been working so come back for more.....

Garden Whimsy!!
I woke this morning tired and like every morning I go back to bed but not today, I started stamping this CUTE card using my favorite stamp set Garden Whimsy and Cutie Pie Paper.
This card measures 4x4 , I really like this size card, it's so much fun to make cards this way! I cased Beate Johns card but I had to change it a little.

More Garden Whimsey......
This card layout was a card layout last week on SCS, so I'm a little late posting it to you but I did manage to complete the challenge. I have been busy getting ready for school and we had a bad storm earlier in the week that caused water damage in the basement! Jason had to take up the carpet downstairs it was so wet and smelly. I was worried because that is Mac & Myles' bedroom. Mac has been having a bad reaction to something and breaking out in hives. I had to rush him to the ER a few day's ago, his whole face, belly, arms,back and legs were covered with what I thought was Poison Ivy!!! It was NOT poison ivy thank god! It was Hives!! So they gave my baby a shot of benadryl (which he did not like but was such a trooper)epinephrine and some oral benadryl. Within an hour the hives were disappearing and we went home!!
Mac has an appointment with the allergist next week. So he has been playing his video games and relaxing in the house. So you can see we have had a VERY busy week!! I will be posting more later today!!

This is a card I made using my new Scalloped Punches from Marvy. I just love these punches, I have ordered the Stampin' Up! Scalloped Punch but it's on back order, going to ship in early September!! I have been busy cleaning my house!!! Hope you enjoy my card!!
